The stones must be freshly dressed in order to grind the perfect oat flour, thus it is not always available.We sharpen each set of stones after about six months use, and it usually takes a couple of days to roughen the grinding surface which slowly begins to smooth over after many tons of grain have passed through.Oat flour is dense and flavorful, making terrific breads, muffins, and more.Use it in a mixture with other flours for a hearty flavor!
